Overview

Load Test with SLOs

Iter8 experiments for load testing with SLOs generate requests for HTTP and gRPC services, collect built-in latency and error-related metrics, and validate service-level objectives (SLOs).

Examples

Load test an HTTP service and validate SLOs (quick start).

Use an Iter8 experiment to load test an HTTP service and validate latency and error-related service level objectives (SLOs).

Control the request generation process.
Control the request generation process by setting the number of queries/duration of the load test, the number of queries sent per second during the test, and the number of parallel connections used to send requests.
HTTP POST endpoint accepting payload.
While load testing an HTTP service with a POST endpoint, you may send any type of content as payload during the load test.
Metrics and SLOs.
Learn more about the built-in metrics that are collected and the SLOs that are validated during the load test.
